Man drinks poison: dies

An unemployed man, who was depressed over his deteriorating health condition, died after drinking a deadly weedicide on Wednesday.

Willie Narsingh, 63, was found lying downstairs his home at Rochard Douglas Road, Barrackpore. He was frothing from the mouth, police said.

Narsingh was found around 1 p.m. He died while being treated at the San Fernando General Hospital several hours later. A bottle containing a green substance was seized by police.

His 60-year-old wife, Mangree, told police her husband suffered from health complications.

If only this poor man was a Member of Parliament,or his spouse,he would have gotten unlimited help.Or,if he had money he could have gone to Cuba,or England. Some people are not necessarily created more equal, but becomes more equal, when they,or their family members, get elected to Public Office. My condolences to this citizen family. If the government cannot provide Health Care for it's citizens, comparable to what Government Officials and their families get, then at least they can pay the final expenses.Aubert Modeste
