Give recognition to a true contributor Posted: 2009-12-01 07:35:00 AM
Over the years this individual has brought a good name to his village and country. WE expect regrettably the norm for the standing (or sitting I should say) Gov't to allow him to fade into memory. However, a humble but vibrant contributor to our country wil never be forgotten by those who valued his presence and contribution. It would be great to see the Express do a history of his life.
Passing of a Legend Posted: 2009-12-01 08:46:00 AM
To the family of Sylvan , our heartfelt condolances on your loss. Sylvan was a dynamic tassa player and a respected member of the community whose passing will be surely missed . As well as his tassa skills , his singing in the Ramayan group was another accomplishmnet in the latter part of his life. From the Ramai Trace community in Toronto.
