Letter to to the Prime Minister:
Dear Sir,
The following was sent to me from friends abroad with a series of questions as though I were running the place and have to account or explain it.
This is the reality as determined by independent analysis-not from those bent on destroying the People’s National Movement. Is this really the best you and your God can do? How do I explain this to those who sent it to me? What do I tell the young people who ask about returning home after their studies? Should I advise them to go to Cuba?Â
Can I tell them that when you are president and have more assistance from a SAUTT of Mongoose Gang we will be looking better in the next couple years?Â
Should I tell them that the UN is anti-PNM and/or is bent on destroying the PNM? How do you as PM really explain this to the intelligent people? What will you tell those at ommonwealth Heads of Government Meeting -most of whom will have seen this? Will Corinthians whatever sell it to them you think?

Barbados Makes Top 40
List Of Best Nations
CaribWorldNews, NEW YORK, NY, Tuesday, October 6, 2009: Barbados is the lone Caribbean nation to make the top 40 list of the 2009 Human Development Report Index.
The Caribbean nation came in at 37 on the list, with UN analysts who compile the annual report, meaning it is very high on the quality of life scale.
The 2009 report titled ’Overcoming barriers: Human mobility and development’, demonstrates, according to experts, ’that migration can enhance human development for the people who move, for destination communities and for those who remain at home’.
The report takes into account life expectancy, literacy, school enrolment and per capita gross domestic product in 182 countries in its measurement of the human index of development.
Norway was at number one with the report authors saying nationals there enjoy the world’s highest quality of life. Niger was the lowest on the ranks.
Australia, Iceland and Canada were second, third and fourth, respectively while the United States was listed as 13th.
Antigua and Barbuda came in at 47 overall while Cuba was at 51 and the Bahamas at 52. Saint Kitts ranked 62; Trinidad and Tobago 64 and St Lucia 69 while Dominica was placed at 73.
Grenada came in at 74 while the Dominican Republic and St Vincent and the Grenadines were 90 and 91 overall. Suriname ranked at 97 while Jamaica was lower at 100.
Guyana came in at a low 114 while Haiti was the lowest for all Caribbean nations at 149.
