Not comprehending what was the issue for the Privileges Committee raised by Minister Neil Parsanlal, I furrowed back to the relevant article to read Senator Dana Seetahal’s column .
And after reading it once, then twice-I will recommend Parsanlal to the Guinness editor, for the silliest non-issue to grace, or disgrace, T&T’s Parliament.
Seetahal’s comments were published in her role as a columnist; but equally they could have come from any citizen listening to the debate in Parliament, a Couva market vendor, or a Cedros fisherman. Would they also be in contempt of Parliament? The Speaker is not above respectful criticism by any citizen.
