Is this Hunt's last stand at Stadium?

Would Sport Minister Gary Hunt please let us know why a private company can put up a giant-sized flag on a giant-sized pole at Macoya for under $150,000, yet his Sports Company required more than 13 times that amount to do the same job at the National Stadium, Portof Spain?

Does this call for a forensic audit?

Furthermore, we are now told that the $18,000 flag ’must be replaced every four to six months in perpetuity’’!

My forecast is that within three years, the Sports Company will have run out of both flags and money-and the public will have run out of patience.

And remember all that remains of what Mr Hunt erected will be a stark bare 195 foot pole known (flatteringly?) as ’Gary’s last stand’’!
