Indian to head world blind cricket body

George Abraham of India has been unanimously elected as President of the World Blind Cricket Council at the 13th annual general meeting of the organisation which was held in Delhi, India at the Y.M.C.A. Conference centre on November 15th-16th respectively.

Abraham replaced Geoff Smith who resigned in March 2008 because of ill health.

Other changes on the executive were the confirmation of Rory Field as Global and European Development Director replacing Miles Northwood and Sultan Shah as Asian Development Director replacing Agha Shoukat Ali.
