Powerhouses Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago took plunges in the latest FIFA World rankings released yesteray, but the two remained in command in the Caribbean Football Union.
Jamaica fell five spots to 74th but held on the top spot in the CFU while T&T slipped nine places to 81st but still maintained their second position.
Haiti secured third spot in the new rankings by virtue of moving one place in the world rankings to 85th, replacing Cuba whose fall by 20 places in the world rankings saw them fourth in the CFU ratings.
Grenada, meanwhile, moved into fifth spot on the backs of a two-place jump in the world rankings while Barbados dropped one place in CFU after plunging 23 places overall.
Guyana remained unmoved in the FIFA rankings but the negativity activity around them allowed them to jump two places up in CFU to seventh.
Antigua & Barbuda have dropped one place to eighth while St Vincent and the Grenadines jumped one place to ninth.
Suriname also struggled, slipping two spots to 10th in the rankings after crashing 29 places in the FIFA rankings overall.
Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz could only manage a dull nil-all draw against South Africa on Tuesday, the only international they contested since the last rankings were released last month.
T&T, meanwhile, played to a 2-2 draw with Mexico in a World Cup qualifier last month, in their only fixture during the period in question.
