Victoria Ramdeen turns 18 on November 30 and to get her ready for her big birthday bash, hairstylist Victor Martinez created this trendy yet sophisticated hairstyle adorned with a jewelled hairpiece.

Martinez wanted to give her something young and fresh but elegant and classy so she swept all her hair back and coiffed the front to add dimension to the look and accentate her features.

He also worked with her so she could create the look at home.

Martinez says sometimes simplicity can create lots of excitement.

Ramdeen who is a form six student at St Joseph’s Convent POS is studying French, Spanish and Sociology and hopes to pursue a career in International Relations.

She is a mix of Venezuelan and Trinidadian and is fluent in Spanish.
