An equal place?

We keep hearing the excuse there are retired judges and parliamentarians living in poverty.

As far as I know, judges are paid a salary in the top percentile of the country and have all kinds of tax exceptions and housing allowances, etc, which the average citizen is not afforded.

Is it that their groceries and health care cost so much more than the regular citizen that they need such an obscene increase?

The National Anthem continues to be a big farce with the “every creed and race have an equal place” line.
