ToolsAre judiciary's wants justified?I have nothing personal against our Chief Justice. I like him for his candour and forthrightness. However, what exactly did he mean when he said he and his judiciary had to face the shops with 2008 salaries? What about the people who number in the thousands who have to face not only the shops but also the schools, the doctors and other institutions with little or no salary? I am willing to bet not one of them can afford a BMW, a driver and several bodyguards. Maybe he can reveal to us the level of his "take home" salary so we can see if he and his judiciary are justified in seeking any increase, when compared to a lot of us who have to and are always making do with whatever the powers that be decide to throw in our direction.
