I was amused to read that the Equal Opportunity Commission (EOC) has nothing better to do than probe Hilton Sandy.
After all, his "Calcutta" remark was merely a restating of the allegation of ethnic stacking in appointments and state enterprises by the Government and a warning that such policies could come to Tobago.
That allegation was also made by a newspaper and few doubt that the People's Partnership appointment process is highly prejudiced. Perhaps the EOC should investigate that too, or maybe it, too, is politically and ethnically stacked.
