Carnival on repeat

WHAT a Carnival! What a great time I had. It was fantastic. And to think it did not cost me a cent more than my monthly cable bill.

You see, I never left my home. I did not go to Skinner Park, to NAPA (National Academy for the Performing Arts), to a panyard, the Grand Stand, not even walking downtown.

I simply sat in front of my 24-inch TV on Carnival Tuesday and I enjoyed four carnivals in one. I saw Carnival 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, all in one day.

And talk about comical. It was really laughable to hear the TV commentators struggle to come up with new adjectives and superlatives to describe the same things they saw for the last three years.

I’m eagerly looking forward to 2015 when I expect to have a much larger TV and able to enjoy even more carnivals in one day.

And, of course, Carnival 2014 was the greatest ever. Give me a break.
