Chicken and what?

I would like to add to the letter in the Express of July 13 headlined "Hands off those doubles", about the handling of the "bara" for the doubles, and add that the chicken and chips outlets need to check up on their procedures too.

Very often the cashiers handle the dirty money and then pack your food in the boxes.

Yes, they use the tongs but they touch the paper used as lining for the boxes, they touch the chips packets and the other food with their "filthy" hands and then bag them — germs included.

I have brought this up on occasion but it persists, so I take it that no one is listening. Meanwhile the germs are eaten along with the chicken and rest of the food.

My suggestion is that one person does the cashing and another handles the food.

Maybe one day, after someone in authority gets sick as a result, something will be done about it.
