Don’t judge gays right to love
THIS letter is in response to the recent articles concerning homosexuality and same-sex marriage.
Firstly, marriage pre-dates Christianity, it’s not theirs to define! How come we don’t hear these so called religious leaders kicking against divorces? But then again this should not be a religious issue. Most straight people seems to know quite a lot about homosexuality than the actual gay person. They need to stop judging what they don’t understand.
There are still some people who strongly believe someone could get HIV from a mosquito, others believe hurricanes are caused because of gay people and that God is punishing us. I believe he is, but maybe he is punishing us because we are hating as bitter as ever his own creation than loving each other. Everybody seems to know only a certain “sin” in the Bible and are completely blind to the rest. We must never forget who wrote the Bible.
War, rape, murder, poverty, equal rights. Guess which one religious leaders are against? Giving someone equal rights won’t affect us. Whichever way you go, the price of gas will remain the same but to deny someone’s right to love, now that’s cruel and inhumane.
