Forget who wears silk or satin

There is a big fuss especially from Messrs de la Bastide, Hudson-Phillip and Daly about some of the legal people who got "silk" recently.

Wasn't there precedent in all cases? All attorneys general got silk. Prime Minister Persad-Bissessar was this country's attorney general for part of the rule of the Panday administration, then-prime minister Robinson received "silk", then-chief justice Bernard received "silk" whilst in office, Mr Hudson-Phillips himself received "silk" while serving as attorney general. Come on gentlemen, we have much more serious things to discuss in this country than who wears silk or satin.
