Give us a public debate for THA elections

I think it is time for the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago to demand that our politics be taken to another level. The time is right for us to demand that a debate be conducted between Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Chief Secretary Orville London and Tobago Organisation of the People (TOP) political leader Ashworth Jack, who are both aspiring to lead the THA after elections.

Let the people hear an honest and open debate on the issues that will affect the future of Tobago, and by extension Trinidad. We should expect nothing less at a most crucial time of our development.

This would give us an opportunity to hear and observe our future leaders discuss topical issues that would probably define the future course of Trinidad and Tobago. As citizens, we deserve nothing less.
