Go home Jack; let candidates stand on their own
Whenever I see certain candidates walking around my community seeking votes, I can’t help but wonder if they can stand by themselves. I say this because every time Om Lalla is campaigning, he is preceded by Jack Warner. Yes, I know Jack is the face and heartbeat of the Independent Liberal Party (ILP), but it’s not Jack who will be the potential MP—it is Om Lalla.
Why does the political leader have to be with the candidate all the time? That speaks volumes about the ILP. If Jack is the party, does that mean his representatives themselves are no good?
I think these are legitimate questions. I have to think about my family and future generations when I make my decision on election day.
