Going with the flow

Sweet T&T. On Jouvert morning, around 9 a.m. on Wrightson Road, westbound traffic towards the stadium was light, but the two lanes eastward into Port of Spain were bumper to bumper and moving slowly.

All of a sudden a driver in the outer lane going east jumped out of his car and crossed the road to urinate on a wall. Supposedly when you gotta go, you gotta go.

At this point the traffic started to flow but the driver was in full flow himself. He couldn't just turn and run back to his car; he had to finish what he was doing and from the length of time that took he must have had quite a few beers.

Of course his abandoned car was blocking one lane of traffic and horns were blaring but some things just can't be rushed. Eventually, he returned to his car and the traffic flowed again and all that was left of this uniquely Trinidadian moment was a stain on a wall.
