Hijacking the rights of Woodbrook folks
The writer of the letter in the Saturday Express of October 12 headlined ‘Legal’ carjacking in Woodbrook made me realise how persons frequenting businesses in Woodbrook have hijacked my right to park in front of my house and not around the corner.
Do persons who do business in these places ever wonder whether they are abetting an enterprise that is not operating with the required legal permission? The letter writer seems to have been careful about not violating parking regulations.
Most of these places do not have official and legal rights to operate a business in a residential area. The majority of the side streets in Woodbrook are residential.
I keep hoping that citizens will begin to be concerned about the rights of the residents in Woodbrook because there are residents in Woodbrook.
