Ian Alleyne the comic
Ian Alleyne’s claim to be building box drains, paving roads, and laying pipes—projects which fall under the central Government and/or regional corporations—makes him the laughing stock of Trinidad and Tobago.
How can a private citizen take credit for doing Government “wuk”?
That his would-be parliamentary colleagues condone Alleyne’s claim in this regard is tantamount to using State resources and taxpayer dollars for political campaigning, and reflects negatively on the non-performance of the current Government that Alleyne, a private citizen, had to lend a hand to get the wuk done.
If the election period was longer, Alleyne might reach the police station to lock up bandits, or join the highway patrol!
That Alleyne has started “representating” before being elected is absurd.
