ToolsIncrease parking at Sando hospitalI would like to request that the Ministry of Health look into the possibility of utilising a large vacant area behind the San Fernando General Hospital to facilitate a new parking area that would be closer to the hospital to enable easier access for the ill and disabled patrons. The hospital is considered as the main trauma unit for the southern region. It provides patients with many necessary services, some which are rarely available in the country. and with the increase of patients and visitors, my request is to have more parking spaces. Currently, the parking situation is less than adequate with people having to walk half a mile up a hill to reach the hospital. Councillor B Ramsuchit St. James East District |
