On behalf of the visual artists of the South, I would like to use this medium to pay public tribute to a very special lady—Jennifer Bohoran—who was laid to rest on Friday, July 4.
Jennifer was the manager of Fine Art, Gulf City, for many years. During this time, she touched the lives of everyone who frequented Fine Art to purchase their art supplies.
Jennifer became a beloved friend to us all. She exuded warmth and sincerity, and welcomed all with her ready smile.
To young artists and art students, Jennifer was a source of inspiration and encouragement.
Those of us who were in touch with Jennifer during her illness were touched and inspired by her inner strength, her patience and endurance, and her peaceful spirit in the face of suffering.
Let her family be assured we will never forget this remarkable woman and she will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Rest in peace, Jennifer.
