ToolsLaventille people the lucky ones, Mr ImbertI heard Colm Imbert on the weekend television news talking about the people in Laventille being under curfew because of the police and army presence on every street corner. What Mr Imbert doesn't know is that for years now the whole population has been under curfew because we are like prisoners in our homes. We have all types of burglarproofing, guard dogs, sophisticated security systems etc to protect ourselves and you know why Mr Imbert? Because we are not so lucky as the people of Laventille to have a squad car parked in every street corner in the areas where we live. If only we could be so lucky! God, help our nation. Only you can.
