Let us all learn from Madiba

Allow me to add my voice to the many accolades for the great freedom and equality fighter Nelson Mandela, fondly known in South Africa by his clan name, Madiba.
Presidents and princes, servants and handmaids all over the world continue to mourn the life of this great man, likely the greatest world leader of the late 20th century.
What set Mr Mandela apart from others who changed the course of history in our world was his capacity for genuine humility, his simplicity and purity of heart.
He touched millions and his legacy will live on throughout the course of history.
It is my wish that our leaders learn from the life and legacy of this man, and desist from fanning the flames of intolerance in our tiny twin-island nation.
There is no place in our country for officials selected to represent a multi-ethnic, multicultural society, to attack and dismiss efforts aimed at inclusion, as window dressing.
Long live the life work of Madiba.
