Mas coverage missing from my televisionI am disappointed in the coverage of Carnival events on television this year. I am used to Kiddies Carnival being broadcast live from the Queen's Park Savannah stage so I kept checking back only to have repeats or "certain" fetes being broadcast. On Carnival Monday I was further disappointed, there was no coverage of Jouvert. Instead, I was forced to endure various programmes about learning to read and miracle cures for cancer. I believe Trinidad is a small country and all media houses should have full access to broadcasting of our cultural events. Competition will bring better programming. The broadcast company with sole rites has done a remarkably poor job with what was entrusted to it. How I missed the broadcast of Kiddies Carnival and Jouvert.
