Media’s objective is to control our minds
The political landscape of T&T is undergoing some significant changes and our black brothers in Laventille are killing each other in a fight for economic turf, while our unbiased media professionals seem to be ignoring their plight.
Instead, they have intensified their relentless attack on our Minister of National Security, Jack Warner, who was appointed by our Prime Minister of T&T, so in effect T&T is under attack.
My knowledgeable friends from behind the bridge where I grew up tell me a good old-fashioned cover-up operation is taking place on behalf of some unknown foreign businessmen who have our black brothers in Laventille in a dreadful state of war among themselves.
What do we as law-abiding citizens do to protect ourselves from those money-hungry monsters in human form?
I don’t have the answers, but I have been around for a very long time and I am the holder of two degrees—one in common sense and the other in street sense—which have served me well.
I am leaving you with some suggestions:
• Pay attention to all media reports available to you each day.
• Compare and take notes and highlight the important points.
• After a while, you will be able to determine in what direction the media is leading you.
• Let us face it; the main objective of the media is to win control of our minds.
