I've been visiting my relatives in San Fernando on a monthly basis over the past several years. Within the past year or so I've noticed a visible change which led me to believe that the natural landmark that is the San Fernando Hill is being gradually expanded. Either naturally, or by the inability of the current Mayor and his team.
The streets, verges and pavements of San Fernando are being taken over by vegetation and garbage.
San Fernando is going green. I now feel compelled to write this letter since the sinkhole on Scott Street which recently developed as a result of incompetent engineering and shoddy workmanship, can only add to the natural beauty of the environmental park in progress.
Mr Mayor, take a bow with pride. Or go and hide.
