The election carnival has hit a fever pitch with the chief protagonists hurling never ending insults at each other, like 3 a.m. jamettes on South Quay, while the pertinent issues are getting as much attention as the UFF commission reports.
Suffice it to say, you have a choice between a popular new party whose interim leaders’ modus operandi has always been 90 per cent for me and a whole 10 per cent for everyone else, an incumbent Government who seem unable to complete a single transaction without a serious whiff of suspicion and the PNM, who are just champing at the bit as the prospect of cozying up to any treasury, looms large.
It is a simple case of out of the frying pan, into the cesspit.
