OJT programme a plus

my younger cousin, who is attending The UWI started her stint as an On the Job Trainee (OJT) with the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure.
She informed me a significant proportion of her class was also afforded the invaluable opportunity to gain work experience through this programme.
Coupled with this was the more than generous stipend she will receive while in the programme.
I applaud the government and the administrators of this programme for this move and for moving the programme into new and unconventional areas such as tourism.
When we speak about developing our resources, we cannot do enough to develop our most important resource, our human resource!
