Occupy those empty structures

The Board of Inland Revenue (BIR) offices on Queen Street are closed because they are deemed “not suitable for occupation” or something of the sort under the OSH Act.
What’s the big problem? There is ample space in the unoccupied 1 Alexandra Street building that our Government has been renting for the past four years or more, or one of the “Patrick/Calder” buildings downtown that are not fully occupied.
Are we to wait indefinitely as the BIR offices are “closed until further notice” while these buildings remain unoccupied?
