Plan for Carnival traffic in PoS

It's about two weeks to the big celebrations of Carnival Monday and Tuesday.

I am wondering if the traffic authorities have a traffic plan in place to get people out of Port of Spain.

Last year, the traffic situation was horrible. Traffic was at a standstill for hours from the west by MovieTowne at Invaders Bay to Wrightson Road to downtown Port of Spain. Every year is the same.

I wonder if these people work with a plan, or if they wake up on Carnival Tuesday morning and say, "You know what, we might have some additional traffic tonight as the Carnival comes to an end. Let us send a few police officers to see what they can do, it shouldn't be that difficult."

Come on, guys, if you don't have a traffic plan to get people out of Port of Spain, you can start now to avoid the same scene as last year. It's not too late—or, better late than never.
