Police service wanted

I would like to propose a master plan to help stamp out the alarming crime spike. In developed countries this anti-crime plan has already been implemented and I am shocked and appalled that we do not have such a service in Trinidad or Tobago as yet. Developed nations call it a "police" service and I beg the Government to establish one.

In this service ordinary men and women are trained to protect and secure the other citizens of their country. They are given weapons, a uniform and certain privileges. They deal with the people in a humane way. They don't murder or kill citizens. They don't beat up innocent people. They don't hate the citizens and avoid doing their jobs.

On top of that – they can read and write and speak above a primary school level. I urge our Government to please try and establish a police service – we are in dire need of one!
