Remove lights at ‘Mt Hope’ north gate

Now that we have a working roundabout at the Arthur Lok Jack entrance, do we really need the traffic lights at the entrance/exit to the Mt Hope Medical Sciences Complex north gate?
Can we not do away with these lights and use both the north and south gates, using the roundabout to enter when coming from south to north, and when exiting from the complex to head back north?
It may mean having security at both stations on a 24-7 basis or using south only after certain hours—but boy would this ease up the traffic, especially on mornings which at present has to stop in between a green at the Priority Bus Route lights, which pulls traffic off the Eastern Main Road, and a red at the existing entrance/exit lights, which allows vehicles to cross the intersection to get back on to the Eastern Main Road.
In fact, on evenings motorists use the south gate to get away from the now-heavy traffic build-up after the roundabout since the removal of the lights at the highway intersection in order to beat the traffic and come out at the north gate to head across the lights.
