It is now clearly evident that we have no effective governance of our nation. Our elected representatives are playing a make-belief game of politics.
The crazy rushed plans by Jack Warner to turn Trinidad and Tobago into a military state with no other elected politician trying to stop him is a very good example of the lack of real responsibility of our present government.
The failure of all our politicians to halt the expansion of crime is caused by the corruption of policemen, politicians and people from the business sector who, when caught in corruption cases, are not effectively dealt with by our bent system of justice.
Army camps, military state or no military state will ever stop corruption or other crimes here.
We can now look forward to a rising trend of corruption in our security forces.
