Same result for us

Oilfields Workers' Trade Union boss Ancel Roget stated that the State of Emergency one year ago was an attempt by the Government to stymie the momentum of the trade union movement's campaign to shut down the country, and not to deal with crime.

I think I am entitled to an explanation as to what does shutting down the country entail, compared to our rights, freedom of expression and movement being taken away, which is what the Government is accused of having done. To me the actions of both parties seem to have the same objective, just that the trade union movement was beaten into second place.
