ToolsStubborn 'section'Some of us wish that Section 34 would go away and become, as MP Volney said, a nine-day wonder. Others feel that the matter should be kept on the front burner as it is a threat to our democracy. Many citizens just go with the flow or along the party line. They do not care about the country. We know that both Houses of Parliament voted for the Bill, but Section 34 will not go away unless we the citizens are told by ministers why it was pulled out and proclaimed on August 30, 2012 instead of January, 2013. While other headlines will occupy front pages this issue will not go away. M E Rodriguez Trincity |
