The minister’s behaviour on the flight from Tobago to Trinidad reflects the immaturity of the youthful parliamentarians who have not had the wide experience earned by living abroad and perhaps imbibing from the font of wisdom and decorum.
Ministers must remember they are to minister to the wants of the people and they are thus not the masters but the servants of the people.
The behaviour exhibited does not do the minister any good, but merely brings the Government into disrepute. The minister must at once place his resignation at the feet of the Prime Minister and take a walk.
