I would like to express my complete agreement with the letter from Theodore Lewis, UWI Professor of Education about Machel Montano in the Express of December 13.

Unfortunately Machel lives in Trinidad and Tobago, where tearing down a person seems to be almost a sport.

I was so disturbed by a programme this week on a radio station where the announcers had initiated a call-in show titled "The 10 songs Machel should not sing on his first day in jail". Where is our humanity?
