Tell us what’s in the air

Looking down from the top of Chancellor Hill just minutes ago and seeing the pall of smoke covering Port of Spain from the still-burning Beetham dump, under “control” now for over 48 hours, I would like to ask the Environmental Management Authority to let the public know: 1) what air pollutants are being monitored? 2) What is their experience with monitoring air pollutants in Port of Spain and, 3) exactly what are the levels of air pollutants that they claim are being monitored?

Nothing less than the health of my patients and that of the public demands answers.
