Traffic plan must have a bus route

This is really for the attention of ministers Emmanuel George and Jack Warner and Mayor Lee Sing.

In the few days since the new traffic plan started, I have been caught up in it and monitoring to see where changes could be made to make it run smoother.

So far, I think we must create a Priority Bus Route if you want to call it that, to allow PTSC buses heading into Port of Spain to use the northside lane on the Western Main Road and Tragarete Road too.

This would put a smile on the faces of senior citizens especially, as they more than anybody use PTSC thanks to their free bus passes.

Three lanes going west along those roads are more than enough room for traffic going west.

It's an experiment anyway, so why not try it for a week and see?
