Under the ‘political carpet’?

I read most of the articles in yesterday’s Sunday Express concerning the findings of the audit of the LifeSport programme. Many refer to the misuse and mismanagement of State funds.
However, I would like to point out that this money belonged to taxpayers who were taxed to pay for goods and services for the common good.
LifeSport is one example of the scale of mismanagement of taxpayers’ funds by this administration.
I would not be surprised if, with this level of mismanagement, taxpayers withhold their tax payments as a form of protest because one gets the impression everything is going to be swept under the “political carpet”.
