ToolsWhat SEA sabotage?EDUCATION Minister Tim Gopeesingh has become an alarmist and a publicity seeker with a Jack Warner alter ego over this alleged SEA results leak. The two "suspects" in the leak made a genuine error in posting the results prematurely on the Ministry's website but it was too late when it was removed. All this talk from Dr Gopeesingh about cyber crime is exaggerated rubbish. Right now Dr Gopeesingh is becoming desperate to find way out from his folly so he begins to insinuate that there is a political dimension that probably PNM or new whipping boy MSJ are behind the sabotage. Avoiding the truth has the same effect as lying and that is exactly what Dr Gopeesingh is doing when he fails to admit categorically that this fake list is the authentic SEA results for 2012. The NPTA president, his new-found supporter, is now prattling all over the place in support of that foolish notion that our children were traumatised. Poppycock, as a well known radio announcer says. Clearly, that character development and citizenry programme is doomed to failure when we see Dr Gopeesingh acting as a total stranger to the truth. Haydn Murray Mt Lambert |
