What about Wilkes?

I am really disappointed that no one saw it fit to honour Rodney Wilkes, our first Olympic medallist, during our recently concluded 50th Independence anniversary celebrations.

While Mr Wilkes won his medal in 1948, when we were still a British colony, surely we could have recognised him in some way!
