Words of violence from a holy man

I read in the Express on February 28 the following words from Spiritual Baptist Bishop Roland Gulston: “All homosexuals need chopping down”, under the misleading headline “We are simply against the lifestyle”.
No other religious leader, no politician, no civic leader, no human rights activist, no officer of the law, no newspaper editorial seems to have yet stepped forward to say that words that incite or imagine violence against any group of citizens are intolerable in the nation we share.
I asked. I waited. Friday, Saturday. Now it’s Sunday. Google images of the bishop; the first ones you’ll find are of him anointing a woman who serves as a Government senator and receiving an award from the President.
What better argument is there for the Constitution protecting homosexuals from being chopped down?
