SIXTY-TWO-YEAR-OLD Leroy Rennie is yet to have his $100,000 bail posted on the charge that he allegedly sexually assaulted a five-year-old girl.
Rennie of Embacadere, San Fernando, was placed on $100,000 bail on his second court appearance.
He was ordered by the court to have no contact with the alleged victim and to stay away from her home.
On that day, defence attorney Annalee Girwar said that Rennie was willing to leave his house and live with relatives at a family home in La Brea.
When the matter was called before Deputy Chief Magistrate Mark Wellington in the San Fernando First Magistrates’ Court yesterday, Rennie answered to his name from the prisoner’s dock.
Wellington adjourned the matter to September 19.
It is alleged that on July 6, Rennie committed grievous sexual assault and indecent assault on the child while they were alone at her house.
Rennie was charged by PC David.
