FIFTEEN people were arrested for robberies, narcotics and outstanding warrants during an anti-crime exercise in Siparia on Friday.
Among them were two men, aged 23 and 24, of Boodoo Trace, De Gannes Village, who were found with 39 flower pots with marijuana plants.
Another man, 37 years old, of Sosa Gap, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking after he was found with 45 plastic packets of marijuana, weighing 79 grammes, within 500 metres of the Iere High School.
Another man, of Logie Street, was detained for inquiries into a case of robbery with aggravation.
The exercise, which was coordinated by Senior Superintendent Gilbert Ramsey, was conducted between the hours of 3-9 a.m.
The exercise was supervised by Inspector Harold Seedharie and included Ag Sgt Ramsingh, Sgt Corrie, Cpl Ramsaran, and Cpl Persad.
