3 limers shot in Arima

THREE men were up to yesterday afternoon at hospital after they were shot in two separate incidents in Arima on Monday.
In the first incident, police said Garvin Jack, of Building Six, Maloney Gardens, was standing outside his home around 1.15 p.m., when he was approached by a lone gunman. Upon seeing the gunman, Jack attempted to run, but the gunman opened fire, hitting him in the buttocks.
And around 9 p.m., two men—Kesi Berkeley, 22, of Edward Street, Arima, and Kassle Nesbitt, also 22, of Mausica Village, Arima—were liming on a bench at Edward Street, when a man armed with a gun began shooting in their direction.
Police said Berkeley was shot in the left thigh, while Nesbitt was hit in the right thigh and back. The gunman then escaped.
All three men were taken to the Arima Health Facility, where they remain warded.
