4 new members appointed to Industrial Court

The Industrial Court of Trinidad and Tobago welcomed four new members to the court on Monday.

The new members received their instruments of appointment from Deborah Thomas-Felix, president of the Industrial Court who congratulated them on their latest career achievement. Thomas-Felix indicated that some of the existing vacancies are now filled and this will assist tremendously in expediting hearings in the court.

The new members are:



Krishendeo Narinesingh, former magistrate, who has been appointed as a member of the Essential Services Division.

Kathleen George-Marcelle, attorney, who has been appointed as a member of the General Services Division

Janice Christopher-Nicholls, economist, who has been also appointed as a member of the General Services Division; and

Mahindra Maharaj, economist, who has been appointed as member of the Essential Services Division



Lawrence Achong, who was a member of the court, has been appointed as chairman of the Essential Services Division.
