The Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago has honoured Lutchman Ramcoomarsingh for reaching the milestone of 50 years being called to the Bar as an attorney, having been admitted to practise law in 1962 by the Supreme Court.

An award ceremony was held for Ramcoomarsingh at his former Sackville Street office in Port of Spain last month, since he was unable to attend last year's award ceremony due to ill health. He was presented with the award.

According to a statement from the Law Association, Ramcoomarsingh is greatly respected as one of the most senior members of the legal profession.
