after 2-day hiatus

By Fedon Mitchell

After a two day absence and many challenges, the Trinidad Express has secured a relaunch of the core content and, soon to follow, the advertising content through a new web host. The additional features of the site and the components that have served site visitors for several years will be restored during the coming weeks with a guarantee of a cleaner layout, more interaction with social networking, easier use, higher and cleaner quality and faster processing. Key to this rushed launch is the organization's dedication to continue to provide the most current, factual and accurate news and current affairs coverage from Trinidad and Tobago.

The site's downtime has been due to some major and unsurmountable technical challenges facing the previous web host. Another disruption is not expected and while the current host and the technical team repopulate the site with content, it is expected that the most current news, will be available by the end of the day, to be sustained in a timely manner daily. The site's archives will be backfilled during the coming days as well.
